If you have a pet, you may wonder how much you treat it with material things compared to other owners. After all, your pet probably brings you joy in many ways, and treating your special friend can feel good.
In a GOBankingRates survey, about 37% of pet owners said they spent less than $600 on them in the past year. Nearly 35% said they spent between $601 and $1,200 in the past year. Only about 8% said they spent more than $2,000.
Since you’re likely spending hundreds of dollars this year on your pet, knowing where you can get the most bang for your buck helps. Here’s a look at four affordable stores to get the best deals on your pet care.
LitterMaid
Based on ConsumerAffairs reviews, LitterMaid is the top pet care company. You may have seen the ads for this company’s litter box solutions. Things like automatic litter boxes and clump-free litter have caught the attention of busy cat owners.
Chewy
The hugely popular Chewy comes in third on this list of places to get the best deals on your pet care. You are probably familiar with this company and know that they offer many products to help keep your pet healthy and happy.
1-800-PetMeds
Speaking of keeping your pet healthy, 1-800-PetMeds also made the list with great reviews from pet owners. The company is known for offering affordable medications and supplies for your pet. ConsumerAffairs lists a rewards program and quick reordering as a few reasons to check it out.
PetSmart
Although it didn’t make the national list, PetSmart was listed on Foursquare as one of the best supply stores in the Los Angeles area. Since this company is known throughout the United States, this is one place to check out pet care deals.
